Get To Know Andy
My name is Andy Knosp and I’m excited to be a candidate for the Purdue Alumni Association Board of Directors for the West & International Region.
I am originally from Cincinnati, OH and grew up in a Boilermaker family spending weekends attending Purdue Football games and summers at Purdue Basketball Camp. I’m a 1999 graduate of the Mitch Daniels School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management. I met my wife Brenda (PharmD ‘01) at Purdue, we have 3 wonderful daughters, and live in Pleasanton, CA.
I’ve been involved with Purdue Alumni Clubs over the past 25 years, have held several club leadership roles including President of the Purdue Club of Washington DC, and have organized many events and activities to engage Purdue alumni and foster relationships.
I want to serve as a Board Member for the Purdue Alumni Association because I’m passionate about fostering meaningful connections within the Purdue community and supporting the lifelong success of our alumni. Purdue has given me so much—an excellent education, opportunities, and a strong network—and I’m excited to help strengthen the Purdue Alumni community.
Forever True: Strengthening Ties, Shaping Futures
Over the past 25 years, I’ve worked in leadership roles in Silicon Valley and bring a combination of experience, strategic vision, and a deep commitment to building community, which I believe will help strengthen Purdue Alumni Association engagement efforts. I’m eager to contribute innovative ideas to enhance alumni connections, support professional growth, and ensure Purdue’s legacy continues to thrive across generations and around the world. I’m genuinely excited about the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our alumni experience and to help shape the future for the next generation of Boilermakers.
Thank you, Boiler Up and Hail Purdue!
